Bid Center Team Lead

About The Role
RESPONSIBILITIES
. In addition to responsibilities of and Application Engineer
- a. Manage day to day functions of Bid Center.
- i. Distribute workload/bid requests appropriately based on current backlog.
- ii. Ensure team is completing RFPs on time.
- iii. Ensure that other requirements are completed by Application Engineers (IT training, HR training)
- iv. Review RFPs and configuration with Application Engineers to ensure accuracy.
- b. Serve as point of contact between Bid Center and Mexico City IT and HR support.
- c. Work with Bid Center Manger to develop processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and utilization of Bid Center
- d. Foster working relationship with Sales Engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.
- Fluent English written and verbal required including electrical and mechanical terminology.
- Candidate must have a broad knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
- Understanding of 3 phase power and working knowledge of batteries, switchgear, and supported products.
- Collaborative skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and product issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
- Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Needs to have a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure design objectives, performance factors, and physical requirements
- Essential knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA.
- Strong attention to details and Effective communication
- Multitasking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred 2-4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- BS degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical technical scope review and formal proposal
- development.
- Conversational English level (B1).
- Preferable knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA
