About The Role

RESPONSIBILITIES

. In addition to responsibilities of and Application Engineer

  • a. Manage day to day functions of Bid Center.
  • i. Distribute workload/bid requests appropriately based on current backlog.
  • ii. Ensure team is completing RFPs on time.
  • iii. Ensure that other requirements are completed by Application Engineers (IT training, HR training)
  • iv. Review RFPs and configuration with Application Engineers to ensure accuracy.
  • b. Serve as point of contact between Bid Center and Mexico City IT and HR support.
  • c. Work with Bid Center Manger to develop processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and utilization of Bid Center
  • d. Foster working relationship with Sales Engineers

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.
  • Fluent English written and verbal required including electrical and mechanical terminology.
  • Candidate must have a broad knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
  • Understanding of 3 phase power and working knowledge of batteries, switchgear, and supported products.
  • Collaborative skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and product issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
  • Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Needs to have a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure design objectives, performance factors, and physical requirements
  • Essential knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA.
  • Strong attention to details and Effective communication
  • Multitasking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred 2-4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical technical scope review and formal proposal
  • development.
  • Conversational English level (B1).
  • Preferable knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA
