Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Statutory Lines Insurance team in Melbourne working with James Johnson.
About the team and the work

We rarely have roles come up in this specialised team given the breadth and depth of work on offer and the genuine collaborative and cohesive team culture.

As a Paralegal, you will support our lawyers across Commonwealth jurisdictions, working with self-insurers and Government agencies on statutory issues, claims management and litigation matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to administrative law, statutory schemes and litigation in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

About you
-
You are currently studying a Bachelor of Laws (or combined law degree) and are in your 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of study.

You have a strong academic record and a genuine interest in litigation, administrative law and insurance law.

Available to commit to a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week on an ongoing basis, with flexibility around university timetables, exams, and study commitments.

To be successful, you will be collaborative, proactive and highly organised, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
