About The Role

As a Machinist - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will work with advanced technologies and contribute to the manufacturing process that supports our aerospace products.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our production processes, ensuring that we meet the high standards required in the aerospace industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in machining within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience with various materials including metals and composites.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

WE VALUE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical certification is a plus.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
