The Inventory & Supply Planner is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of finished goods between our suppliers and the EMEA Distribution Center in order to ensure that correct items and quantities are delivered in line with customer requirements, inventory control procedures, company policies and objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

Inventory Optimization: Balance stock levels to achieve target fill rates while minimizing obsolete, excess and aging parts.
Procurement & Reordering: Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage daily material replenishment via ERP/MRP systems.
Supplier Coordination: Engage actively and daily with internal/external suppliers on open orders, shipping schedules and delivery commitments to prevent stock-outs.
Exception Management: Identify potential part shortages, expedite critical shipments and coordinate alternative delivery solutions (eg. air freight, …) where needed in order to mitigate business risk.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with warehouse Operations and Quality, Transportation, Demand Planning, Customer Service, (Internal) Sales, Procurement, Finance, Product Management, … in order to align on all facets of making parts available for our customers.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Track KPI’s like inventory levels, Stock Availability, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), backorders, … to identify areas for improvement and support data driven decision making.

Your Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree (Supply Chain, Logistics or related) or equivalent via experience
Experience: Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience in Inventory Planning and/or Supply chain planning
Technical competence & skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities
Soft skills: Data-driven with strong analytical skills, process oriented and strong problem-solving skills
Language skills: Fluent in English
