We are seeking an experienced and motivated Employment Law Attorney to join our dynamic law firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to represent clients in a broad range of employment law matters while working alongside a collaborative and results-driven team.
Position Overview
This is an in-office position based at our firm. Following successful completion of the introductory employment period, attorneys may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement based on performance, productivity, and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment law matters from intake through resolution.
- Advise clients regarding workplace rights, compliance issues, and employment-related disputes.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
- Handle administrative claims before agencies such as the EEOC and state labor departments.
- Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, negotiate settlements, and represent clients at hearings and trial.
- Maintain consistent client communication and provide strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license and good standing with the State Bar.
- 3+ years of employment law experience preferred.
- Experience handling matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, ADA, FMLA, and related employment claims.
- Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload while working effectively within a team environment.
