About The Role

About Electrum Electrum is building an integrated electric-mobility ecosystem in Indonesia, combining electric motorcycles, battery-swapping stations, and connected technology. We are looking for a hands-on Training & Development Specialist to strengthen capability across our automotive and operational teams. The Role You will design, deliver, and continuously improve practical learning programmes for teams supporting our automotive operations. The role connects business needs with clear competency standards, engaging training delivery, and measurable performance improvement. Key Responsibilities Conduct training-needs analysis with Operations, Service, Sales, Infrastructure, Product, and Human Capital stakeholders. Build role-based learning paths, curricula, training materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and on-the-job coaching tools for automotive and EV-related operations. Deliver classroom, virtual, and field-based training for technical and frontline populations, including mechanics, service teams, supervisors, and relevant operational staff. Support training related to product knowledge, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting fundamentals, safety practices, quality standards, customer experience, and workplace discipline. Establish competency matrices and practical assessment methods; track certification, training completion, knowledge retention, and post-training performance. Coordinate subject-matter experts and external training providers; maintain training calendars, attendance records, budgets, and training documentation. Evaluate programme effectiveness using participant feedback, assessment results, operational quality data, and manager feedback; recommend improvements. Help embed a continuous-learning culture and ensure training practices align with internal policies, safety requirements, and operational standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, technical training, service training, or capability development; automotive, motorcycle, EV, mobility, dealer, workshop, or field-operations exposure is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to create practical training materials and facilitate sessions for adult learners with different technical backgrounds. Familiarity with competency frameworks, training-needs analysis, training evaluation, and learning-management or training-record systems. Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and project-coordination skills. Comfortable travelling to operational locations and delivering hands-on training in the field when needed. Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia; working English is an advantage. Nice to Have Experience training technicians, mechanics, service advisors, field operations, or sales teams. Exposure to electric vehicles, battery systems, automotive after-sales, workplace safety, quality management, or customer-experience programmes. Experience with instructional design, digital learning, or training analytics. Training is delivered consistently, documented accurately, and linked to measurable operational and people outcomes.
