About The Role

Kroll’s Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Cyber Threat Intelligence Embedded Advisor Program to lead the development, execution, and growth of a strategic intelligence advisory function embedded across Kroll’s Cyber & Data Resilience business. This leadership role will be responsible for building and managing a team of Embedded Advisors who deliver intelligence-driven insights that enhance retainer services, support sales pursuits, strengthen client engagements, and drive measurable business growth.

The Senior Director will serve as the strategic leader of the program, ensuring threat intelligence capabilities are deeply integrated into Kroll’s proactive cybersecurity offerings. This individual will oversee a team of intelligence professionals while partnering closely with Retainer Services, Advisory, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to translate intelligence into commercial value and differentiated client outcomes.

This role requires a unique blend of cyber threat intelligence expertise, leadership experience, business acumen, executive communication skills, and operational management capabilities.

Strategic Importance of the Embedded Advisor Program

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Embedded Advisor Program represents a critical strategic investment for Kroll and serves as a foundational capability supporting several key business growth initiatives.

Retainer 2.0 Support

Kroll’s Retainer Services business currently supports over 279 clients and generates approximately $17.2 million in annual revenue. The Retainer 2.0 initiative seeks to expand this business to more than $22 million annually through enhanced client experiences and differentiated service offerings.

A key dependency for this growth strategy is the integration of Cyber Threat Intelligence into Gold and Platinum retainer memberships. The Embedded Advisor Program will be responsible for:

Delivering quarterly intelligence reviews, threat briefings, and executive presentations.

Providing industry-specific intelligence reporting.

Supporting strategic cyber risk discussions with client executives and boards.

Developing intelligence products that increase client engagement and retention.

Training Retainer Services personnel to effectively utilize CTI resources and threat insights with Bronze and Silver clients.

Creating scalable intelligence frameworks that support growth without significantly increasing delivery costs.

Sales & Business Development Enablement

The Embedded Advisor Program will serve as a force multiplier for revenue growth by embedding intelligence into all stages of the client acquisition lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Team Management

The Senior Director will be responsible for establishing, leading, and scaling the Embedded Advisor Program as a core strategic capability within Kroll’s CTI organization.

Client Advisory & Executive Engagement

The Senior Director will serve as a trusted executive advisor and strategic intelligence leader for key client relationships.

The Senior Director will be responsible for ensuring intelligence capabilities directly support business growth objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Cyber Risk Advisory, or related cybersecurity disciplines.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Significant client-facing consulting or advisory experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading executive and board-level cyber risk discussions.

  • Strong understanding of threat actors, attack methodologies, cybercrime ecosystems, and intelligence operations.

  • Experience integrating intelligence into business strategy and client engagements.

  • Proven ability to influence revenue growth, client retention, and service development initiatives.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
