Position Title: Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Position Summary

The WarehouseShift Supervisorwill play a pivotal role in supporting the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager in supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring the inbound/outbound, handling,postingand distribution of goods. This supervisory-level position demands a solid foundation in warehouse operations, staff coordination, and adherence to regulatory standards. The Warehouse Specialist will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor andultimately alignwith the direction of the Warehouse Manager to uphold operational excellence andmaintaina safe, orderly environment within the warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities

-

Assistin carrying out all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and the distribution of goods;

-

Support the implementation and maintenance of effective inventory control systems andparticipatein regular audits to verify accuracy and mitigate losses;

-

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor, under the overall direction of the Hiring Manager, in coordinating with theAccountingTeam to ensureaccurateinventory tracking,timelyreporting, and adherence to budgetary guidelines

Ensure all warehouse activitiescomply withhealth and safety regulations, promote a culture of safety, andparticipatein routine safety training;

Identifyand recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within warehouse operations;

Assistwith tactical efforts to helpfacilitatemanagement efforts related to planning and managing warehouse spaceutilizationto maximize storage capacity andoptimizeworkflow;

Carry out and functions using the warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools to streamline operations effectively;

-

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to help track expenditures in supporting budget management, including cost control and preparation of financial reports;

Qualifications and Experience

-

A minimum of at least 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing facility. (A senior specialist should bring 4 to 5 years in such roles). Also warehouse operations experience should include strong skills and backgroundwith SAPand Microsoft office

Associate orBachelor’sdegree (preferred) or other training inlogistics, supply chain management, or a related field though open to those without advanced education but with solid experience.

Provenexpertisein warehouse support functions, ideally within manufacturing sectors;

-

Some working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software;

-

Working familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations;

Strong communicationskills

-

Forklift certification is preferred
