About The Role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating strategic and tactical supply chain projects and initiatives. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the coordination and support of Supply Chain Improvement Initiatives, Supply Chain Analytics as well as the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and associated Training Programs and Manuals.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

RESPONSIBILITES

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensures compliance to Badgers safety and high service standards. Badger is a safety-oriented company, and it is important to use this to help develop a competitive advantage and raise the standards of the industry.
  • Supports the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all areas of supply chain management.
  • Manages the Item set up process and updates of item attributes and ensure that they are processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Supports the Procurement team through efficient and accurate BA and sourcing rule updates.
  • Supports the development and implementation of standardized Document Control Procedures.
  • Supports the development of Oracle training manuals and provide training on standard oracle processes and procedures to the supply chain team.
  • Supports the Assembly and Warehouse teams with work order issues and help with closing as needed.
  • Manages the Non-Standard work order process for work orders required outside of the production line.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success

  • Degree or Education in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is considered an asset. Will consider a combination of work experience with education.
  • Experience with procurement, warehousing, and data analytics industry best practices.
  • Excellent planning, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn from one’s mistakes, take responsibility and not afraid to ask for help.
  • Strong brainstorming skills with an ability to create innovative solutions, an out of the box thinker.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound technical background (hands-on) with logical deductive reasoning approach.
  • Interest in developing technical skills through both internal and external training.
  • Conviction to improve personally and support continuous improvement in the department and company.
  • Strong working knowledge of common software packages (MS Office, Acrobat, etc.) and ERP systems (Oracle, Sage).
  • The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
