Your programme
As part of our Finance and Regulation Graduate Programme,you'llhelp shape the future of water services across the East of England. Working at the centre of some of the industry's biggest challenges,you'llsupport decisions that balance customer affordability, environmentalambitionand long-term investment.
Whether you join our Finance or Regulation pathway,you'llgain exposure to strategic decision-making, complex business challenges and projects that have a lasting impact on customers,communitiesand the environment. From day one,you'llwork on real projects that influence how Anglian Water invests billions of pounds to improve services, protect the environment and deliver long-term value.
Finance Graduates will develop their commercial and analyticalexpertisethrough exposure to areas such as financial controls and accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investmentappraisaland business planning.You'llhelp assess financial performance, evaluate investmentopportunitiesand provide insights that support key business decisions.
Regulation Graduates will build an in-depth understanding of how the economic regulation of a water companyoperatesin practice. The Regulation team sits at the heart of the business, connecting government policy, regulatory frameworks, businessplanningand investment delivery. Joining at a particularly exciting time for the water sector,you'llgain exposure to major regulatory reform, contribute to shaping the future of regulation, and support the development of our business plan for the 2029 Price Review.
Through a series of structured placements,you'lldevelop a broad understanding of Anglian Water while building the analytical, commercial and leadership skills needed to become one of our future experts and leaders. Supported by experienced colleagues and mentors,you'lltake on meaningful responsibility, expand your professionalnetworkand develop the skills needed for a successful career in finance,regulationor wider business leadership.

You'llhave achieved, or be on track to achieve, a minimum 2:2 degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Sciences, or a closely related discipline by September 2027.
For this role,you’llneed to have obtained in the last 3 years or be studying towards a minimum 2:2 inthe preferred degree disciplinesand have graduated by September 2027 for the 2027 intake.
