Your programme

Youwillwork within the Policy andPublic Affairsteamsas part of theCorporate Affairsdirectorate.Responsibilitieswillvary butare likely toinclude:

Policyandpolitical researchand insight.Monitoringand summarisingparliamentary activity, governmentannouncementsand wider policy developments.

Drafting internalbriefings and external engagement documents.For example,updates onpolitical andpolicyannouncements,responses togovernment and parliamentaryconsultations.

Stakeholder engagement support.Assistingwith the preparation andfollow‑upfor meetings,forexampleby researching MPs’ interests, ordraftingkeymessages.

Policy analysis andposition development.Workingwith colleaguestodevelopcompany positions on emerginggovernment policies,includingdeveloping the evidencebaseto understand theimplicationsofdifferent options.

For this role,you’llneed to have obtained in the last 3 years or be studying towards a minimum 2:2 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the 2027 intake.
