Volunteer Description

• Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.

Responsibilities

• -
• Greet and escort patients to and from therapy sessions.
• -
• Assist staff with patient flow and comfort in waiting areas.
• -
• Help organize therapy equipment, supplies, and treatment spaces.
• -
• Provide non-clinical support during therapy activities.
• -
• Offer encouragement and a friendly presence to patients of all ages.

Preferred Qualifications

• -
• Interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or healthcare.
• -
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• -
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor.
• -
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.

Commitment

• -
• One 3-hour shift per week.
• -
• Minimum 6-month commitment required.
