Senior Director, Voice Sales
ABOUT SINCH

- Paypal, Visa, Tinder, and many others — rely on Sinch’s Customer Communications Cloud to power engaging
- customer experiences through mobile messaging, voice, and email.
- Whether you need to verify users or craft omnichannel campaigns, Sinch makes it easy. Our AI-infused Super
- Network, APIs, and applications ensure you can connect with your customers reliably and securely, at every step of
- their journey.
- At Sinch we “Dream Big”, “Win Together”, “Keep it simple”, and “Make it Happen”. These values are our
- foundation!
DESCRIPTION
- Sinch has a significant and time-sensitive opportunity in the North American enterprise voice market.
- Industry disruption and changes in the competitive landscape have created a window for Sinch to capture
- substantial new business and establish deeper strategic relationships with some of the largest communications
- customers in the market. We believe the next two years represent an unusually important opportunity to
- accelerate our position in Voice.
- We are looking for a Senior Director who can turn that opportunity into results.
- This is a builder role. You will quickly develop a deep understanding of the market, our capabilities, our customers
- and the competitive opportunity. From there, you will build the strategy, determine the coverage model, build and
- develop the team, create pipeline, and lead execution.
- You will report directly to the SVP of Sales, North America and operate alongside four peer sales leaders as part of
- the North American sales leadership team.
- Success will require both strategy and urgency. We need a leader who can see the opportunity, build the plan and
- then get personally involved in making it happen.
What You Will Own
- Build the Voice growth strategy. Develop a clear two-year plan to capitalize on the current market opportunity,
- including priority customer segments, competitive targets, account strategies, coverage, capacity and investment
- requirements.
- Build the organization to execute it. Assess the resources required, recruit and develop the right talent, establish
- clear roles and coverage, and create an operating model capable of scaling quickly.
- Create and convert pipeline. Establish an aggressive, disciplined prospecting and account-development motion
- focused on the highest-value opportunities. Maintain rigorous qualification, pipeline inspection and opportunity
- progression.
- Lead from the front. Personally engage in our largest and most strategic opportunities. Build relationships with
- senior customer executives, influence deal strategy, remove obstacles and help teams win complex competitive
- pursuits.
- Run the business. Own the forecast, pipeline, sales performance and operating cadence for Voice. Know the
- business at the customer and opportunity level and act quickly when performance is off plan.
- Drive competitive displacement. Develop repeatable plays that translate market disruption into customer
- conversations, qualified opportunities and wins. Work closely with Marketing, Product, Solutions Engineering and
- other teams to sharpen our positioning and accelerate execution.
- Build strategic customer relationships. Position Sinch as a long-term communications partner rather than simply
- an alternative supplier. Understand customers' infrastructure, resiliency, economics and growth priorities and
- connect them to Sinch's capabilities.
- Create organizational momentum. Operate effectively across Product, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success,
- Solutions Engineering and Operations to get decisions made, remove friction and move opportunities forward.
What We Are Looking For
- You are an experienced enterprise sales leader, but more importantly, you are a builder.
- You have demonstrated that you can enter a market or business with significant untapped opportunity, quickly
- understand what needs to happen, develop a credible plan, build the team and execute.
You bring
- Significant enterprise sales leadership experience in Voice, telecommunications, CPaaS or closely related
infrastructure markets.
- Deep knowledge of the enterprise Voice ecosystem, competitive landscape and customer buying
environment.
- A track record of building or transforming sales teams and delivering substantial growth.
- Experience winning complex competitive displacement opportunities.
- Strong executive relationships and the credibility to engage senior leaders at large enterprise and
communications customers.
- The ability to move comfortably between strategy, recruiting, pipeline creation, account planning, deal
execution and forecasting.
- Strong commercial judgment and an understanding of the economics of large-scale communications
businesses.
- A disciplined approach to qualification, forecasting, account planning and opportunity management.
- The ability to create urgency and accountability without sacrificing collaboration.
- A bias toward action and the ability to operate successfully in a complex global organization.
What Success Looks Like
- The first priority is speed.
- Within your first months, you will understand the market opportunity, identify where Sinch can win, establish the
- strategy and coverage model, assess the existing organization and begin building the team required to execute.
- From there, success means turning the strategy into measurable pipeline and wins.
- You will create a focused portfolio of high-value competitive opportunities, establish executive relationships with
- priority customers, build a predictable pipeline and create a sales organization capable of converting the market
- opportunity into sustained growth.
- This is not a role where success is measured by producing a strategy. It is measured by executing one.
- The opportunity is significant. The window is finite. We are looking for a leader who wants to build something and
- make the most of it.
OUR HIRING PROCESS
- We are committed to ensuring a recruitment process that is fair, objective, consistent, and inclusive. Our approach
- includes structured, competency-based interviews designed to evaluate your skills, experience, and qualifications
- relevant to the role. At times, we may include a data-driven assessment to enhance our hiring success and identify
- candidates likely to excel.
- We believe in a two-way process and encourage you to ask questions throughout the journey. If this role isn't
what you're looking for, please explore the other opportunities listed on our career page

- with us!
