Driller (Main) || Resource Pool (Brasil)

Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all well and drilling activities and actively supervise the drilling crew.

Responsible for/ensure

End owner of the well integrity at all times.

Direct all activities related to drilling operations in accordance with the drilling program.

-

Monitor wellbore conditions, interpret, and respond to downhole conditions.

-

Secure the well during an emergency or well control situation.

-

Execute well kill operations as per instructions from Seadrill supervisors.

-

Conduct well and drilling activities as directed by the Toolpusher/Tourpusher.

-

Ensure the drill floor is never left unattended when connected to a well.

-

Ensure all relevant governing documents are adhered to by direct reports.

-

Ensure all relevant governing documents are revised as required.

-

Provide clear daily operational guidelines to all direct reports.

-

Demonstrate visible leadership by spending time in the field and monitoring daily operations.

-

Ensure all drills and checks are conducted as required.

-

Ensure all applicable reports and logs are completed as required by supervisors, the Client, and the Company.

-

Assist with preparation for future drilling operations.

-

Provide thorough handovers at each daily change of shift.

-

Support the development of offshore employees’ performance and competence to ensure the Rig/Operating Area has the right skills, knowledge, and capabilities to operate under Seadrill standards and meet objectives.

Perform other duties as required and/or as directed by the direct supervisor.
