About The Role
Manpower & Personnel Support Technician
This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.
The Manpower & Personnel Support Technician assist the government in managing all programs in accordance with the Commanders’ Support Staff (CSS) Execution, Organization, and Responsibilities PSD Guide for the 631 CYS.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Manpower & Personnel Support Technician: $110k
- Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Manpower & Personnel Support Technician Responsibilities Include
- Assisting the Government in tracking the completion of military and civilian appraisals, awards, and decorations of all personnel
- Assisting the Government in managing the in-processing and out processing of 631 CYS personnel
- Supporting the Government in monitoring the personnel readiness of all 631 CYS personnel
- Helping the Government manage the 631 CYS’s unit recognition program
- Tracking inbound/outbound of Command personnel and manages duty rosters
- Assisting the Government in managing personnel sponsorship program
- Acting as the point of contact for all newly assigned personnel to 631 CYS
- Acting as the point of contact for 15 of new assigned personnel annually
- Scheduling new personnel initial training/orientation requirements
- Assisting the Government in monitoring the 631 CYS family care program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Manpower & Personnel Support Technician Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 Years’ Experience in a Manpower and Personnel Support role supporting a DOW agency, Air Force/Space Force preferred
- Experience in myFSS (Force Support Squadron) and MyVector, older version of myPers
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills and perform tasks with little or no oversight
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Workspace will be in a US Government Facility with controlled access and/or military installation
- No travel associated with this role
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
