I. Job Summary

Performs inspections to determine compliance with hazardous waste management, environmental monitoring and health and safety regulations. Performs laboratory and sampling duties to meet Groundwater and other monitoring requirements.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts facility inspections as required by OSHA, RCRA, NPDES, SPCC, and TSCA regulations and other State, Federal, and Corporate requirements, using guidelines supplied, to check for compliance with standards.
  • Records results of inspections and enters on computer database, keeping database current.
  • Provides support for groundwater, leachate and other related sampling specified by compliance\monitoring supervisor, Corporate, Federal and State requirements.
  • Reference site-specific procedures and more detailed site-specific job descriptions.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

  • 1 year of prior work experience and/or training
  • Sampler Certification Module

Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.

This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
