Fac Process Support Specialist

Under general supervision, provides administrative and operational support for faculty affairs processes within the School of Nursing, including faculty appointments and reappointments, committee support, teaching assignment documentation, licensure communications, and faculty records maintenance. Assists with faculty development programs, orientation activities, School of Nursing events, annual reporting, and other faculty-related initiatives while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and providing backup support to Office of Faculty Excellence staff as needed.

• Supports adjunct/adjoint appointment processes, reviews packet for accuracy and completeness, and obtains required approvals.
• Prepares teaching assignment memos utilizing TAMS software reports.
• Processes additional services payment for adjunct faculty.
• Processes annual adjunct faculty reappointments.
• Processes and maintains adjunct without salary reappointments.
• Serves as an information resource for the departmental administrative leadership team.
• Supports compliance in conducting all faculty separation, termination, and retirement processes.
• Communicates requirements related to faculty evaluations and reporting.
• Coordinates service hand-offs with other stakeholders.
• Serves as backup to other Fac. Process Support Specialists in the School of Nursing.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education

• No experience with degree; four (4) years’ experience in lieu of education is required.
