About The Role

As a Technician - Test - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in supporting the testing and validation of mechanical and electronic systems to ensure product quality and reliability. You will work closely with engineering teams to execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and document results that contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality assurance and product development processes by providing accurate and timely test data, identifying defects, and supporting root cause analysis. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will help maintain high standards and support Honeywell’s commitment to delivering superior products to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute test procedures and protocols to validate product performance and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing, providing detailed feedback to engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and support documentation for compliance and quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test methods and product designs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout testing activities.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in test technician roles or related technical fields.
  • Strong knowledge of test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems used in mechanical and electronic testing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures to accurately conduct tests.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing product issues during testing phases.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards relevant to testing environments.

WE VALUE

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with automated test systems and software tools used for data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in product testing and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting test results and maintaining records.
