Machine Operator/ASC

Description

Responsible for assisting the Mechanic/Operator in operating the line to ensure consistent and daily maintenance of the line
Assist in staging and loading metal for the current job in line
Reload carton maker for continuous material flow
Restock palletizer with empty skids
Refill corrugated pad feeder for wrapping operation
Ensure line cleanliness inside and outside the perimeter of the entire line, completing the Cleaning Schedule Procedure
Perform quality checks
Assists Mechanic/Operator with any tasks they need assistance with.
May perform some Material Handler duties.
Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures

Must be able to operate other Fabrication equipment when ASC line is not available. Will be trained to drive a Forklift- powered and manual hand trucks. Will operate computer terminal and other office equipment.

Must be able to read and understand production instructions, quality control instructions, and perform math calculations using decimals. Must read scales and various types of calipers. Must maintain minimum Certification requirements.
