About The Role

The Opportunity

As the Manager, Inclusion, you will be a key leader in advancing and embedding our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) strategy across the organization. Working in close partnership with business leaders, HR, and ESG stakeholders, you will drive the integration of IDEA principles into business decisions, people practices, and organizational culture to create measurable outcomes for both employees and the business.

You will play a pivotal role in translating our IDEA vision and strategic priorities into enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance employee experience, strengthen organizational capability, support sustainable business performance, and contribute to our broader ESG commitments. Through strategic consultation, partnership, and influence, you will ensure inclusion is embedded across the employee lifecycle, business operations, and leadership decision-making.

You will also act as a trusted advisor and consultant, serving as the primary strategic liaison for our Employee Groups (EGs) and providing strategic and operational leadership to the IDEA Advisory Council (IDEAAC).

What to Expect

IDEA Strategy Development & Enterprise Integration

  • Lead the development, evolution, and execution of the enterprise IDEA strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, business objectives, talent strategies, and ESG commitments.
  • Partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and ESG stakeholders to identify opportunities where IDEA initiatives can drive both business outcomes and employee experience improvements.
  • Establish multi-year strategic priorities, success measures, and implementation roadmaps to advance representation, inclusion, accessibility, and equitable outcomes across the organization.
  • Assess emerging workforce, social, legislative, and industry trends to inform IDEA priorities and ensure continued organizational relevance and impact.

Strategic IDEA Integration & Embedment

  • Lead the practical integration of IDEA priorities across all business units, ensuring inclusion is embedded into core HR processes, organizational design, leadership practices, and day-to-day business operations.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to align IDEA objectives with business strategies and functional goals, ensuring solutions address both business needs and employee outcomes.
  • Provide consultation on programs, policies, practices, and organizational changes to ensure an integrated business, people, risk, and inclusion lens is applied.
  • Act as a change leader, developing communication, engagement, and education strategies that foster a culture of belonging, accountability, and inclusive leadership.

Employee Group (EG) Consultation & Engagement

  • Serve as the central point of contact and strategic consultant for all Employee Groups.
  • Guide EGs in aligning their annual charters and initiatives with broader organizational and strategic goals.
  • Ensure EG leadership is consulted on new policies, business transformations, and employee experience initiatives where applicable, amplifying their voices to support change.

IDEAAC Support & Facilitation

  • Provide operational and strategic leadership to the IDEA Advisory Council (IDEAAC).
  • Help develop and steer council agendas, facilitate discussions, and ensure action items and recommendations are tracked, measured, and implemented.
  • Ensure the IDEAAC's efforts are closely aligned with our broader organizational sustainability and representation targets.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key inclusion metrics, representation targets, and the overall effectiveness of IDEA initiatives.
  • Prepare compelling executive summaries and progress reports for senior leadership, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for growth.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in DEI, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to operate at a senior management or highly consultative level.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with and experience within the P&C insurance industry, or the broader financial services sector, is a significant asset.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of IDEA best practices, change management principles, and the systemic barriers present in corporate environments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of effectively partnering with and guiding Employee Resource Groups (ERGs/EGs) and advisory councils.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to influence without authority, navigate complex and sensitive organizational dynamics, and build consensus among senior executive teams.
  • Business and People Acumen: Understands how to partner strategically and with credibility to plan and embed change, practices, policies and programs using an integrated legislative, business and people perspective.

Salary Range: $106,500 - $156,500
