Lead Data Migration Engineer

• Lead end-to-end data migration activities from legacy systems to target platforms.
• Perform data profiling and data quality assessments to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation.
• Define business rules and transformation logic for migration processes.
• Execute data cleansing, standardization, deduplication, and enrichment activities.
• Validate migrated data through reconciliation and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather migration requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Analyze source system data structures and recommend migration strategies.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-migration validation activities.
• Monitor migration progress and proactively identify risks and issues.
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Produce documentation, migration reports, and quality metrics.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Migration, Data Analysis, Data Management, or Data Integration roles.
• Strong experience with large-scale data migration projects.
• Expertise in:
• Data Mapping
• Source-to-Target Mapping
• Data Transformation
• Data Cleansing
• Data Validation
• Data Reconciliation
• Data Quality Management
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
