About The Role
Bolton Clarke Group one of Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, operating nationally and internationally. Bolton Clarke Residential group now has 88 Aged Care Homes across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA, with the inclusion of the Allity, McKenzie & Acacia Living Group.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to establish and lead the analytics function within the Bolton Clarke Research Institute (BCRI). Reporting to the Deputy Head of Research, you will play a key role in generating meaningful insights, supporting research and clinical innovation programs, and driving evidence-informed decision making across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Research Institute's analytics function, aligned to strategic priorities
- Deliver analytics that support research, evaluation and clinical innovation initiatives
- Partner with researchers, clinicians and stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven insights
- Analyse complex datasets and communicate findings to support evidence-based decisions
- Contribute to study design, evaluation activities and impact measurement frameworks
- Translate data and research findings into practical recommendations and service improvements
- Support reporting, publications and dissemination of research outcomes
- Promote high standards of data quality, governance and ethical research practice
- Build analytics capability and data literacy across the Research Institute and partner teams
About you
You are an experienced analytics professional who enjoys working at the intersection of data, research and service improvement. You can transform complex information into meaningful insights and influence decision making across diverse stakeholder groups.
You will bring
- Significant experience in analytics, data science or applied data environments
- Experience leading analytics functions, projects or teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex findings
- Advanced capability using statistical and analytical tools such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS or similar
- Experience supporting research, evaluation, performance monitoring or improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders and decision makers
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in data science, statistics, epidemiology, public health, health informatics or a related discipline
