Job responsibilities
- Execute software solutions across design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond conventional approaches to break down complex problems and build scalable outcomes
- Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency Java microservices using Spring Boot, with a focus on performance, resiliency, and maintainability supporting sanctions screening and Trust & Safety workflows
- Build and maintain robust Java-based integrations (Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, PL/SQL) aligned with enterprise architecture standards and patterns
- Drive microservices and event-driven messaging designs to support scalability, resiliency, and controlled processing of screening outcomes
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity — including code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, and documentation — while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met throughout software code development
- Gather, analyze, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
