Job Summary

Performs various accounting tasks in support ofthe AnalyticsCoE(Center of Excellence).

What you will do

Possible areasof responsibility include, but are not limited to

• -
• Support the cost monitoring process for machinesand componentsproduced atCaterpillar.
• -
• Supportanalysisforcomponentsource changes and other comparative studies.
• -
• Supportthe SCR (Standard Cost Revision) process
• -
• Support improvement projects related to Caterpillar's strategic business, including automationand other initiatives.

What you will have

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks withhigh levelsof precision.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability todeterminethe root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing,anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Basic requirements

• -
• Bachelor’sdegreecompletedorcurrentlyinprogress(expectedgraduationbymid-2027).
• -
• Knowledge of financial analysis, cost management, and product structure.
• -
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Officeapplications,particularlyExcel, PowerPoint,andWord.
• -
• Pre-Advanced English level, with the ability toparticipatein daily interactions with global teams, including meetings, presentations, and written communication.

Top candidates will also have

• -
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• -
• Advanced proficiency in analytical, automation, and digital tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, Python, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
• -
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and leading cross-functional initiatives and projects.
• -
• Advanced to Fluent English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.
