Lead Solution Analyst

About the Role

The Lead Solution Analyst within the Transformation Office's R&D team will lead the analysis and definition of business and solution requirements for a strategic Fund Services transformation program using Sigma, the cloud-native analytics and reporting product from Sigma Computing. The role will partner with business subject-matter experts, process owners, architects, developers, and project leadership to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and practical solution designs.

Job Duties in Brief

• Lead discovery workshops covering users, processes, controls, data, reporting, analytics, and integration needs
• -
• Define reporting, analytics, governance, security, and user requirements supporting the use of Sigma
• -
• Design reporting and analytics solutions that use Sigma capabilities to meet business outcomes
• -
• Own functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, data requirements, and traceability
• -
• Assess current-state processes and define scalable future-state processes
• -
• Partner with architects and developers to evaluate options, feasibility, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
• -
• Maintain and refine the product backlog and facilitate planning, reviews, demonstrations, and requirements walkthroughs
• -
• Support solution design, testing, defect triage, implementation readiness, and acceptance decisions
• -
• Define and monitor adoption, performance, control effectiveness, and realized benefits
• -
• Mentor analysts and promote high-quality business-analysis practices

About You

• -
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• -
• 5+ years of business or solution analysis experience in an agile environment
• -
• Experience leading discovery, process analysis, solution evaluation, and stakeholder workshops
• -
• Ability to document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, data needs, and business rules
• -
• Exceptional facilitation, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• -
• Experience supporting testing, implementation readiness, and benefits measurement

Technical Qualifications: Assets

• -
• Experience working with Sigma or a comparable cloud analytics and reporting product
• -
• Experience gathering requirements for reporting, dashboards, analytics, data models, and semantic layers
• -
• Understanding of data governance, role-based access, data quality, and reporting controls
