We’re looking for a Quarry Foreperson to help lead our teams across Shotover and Fairlight Quarries in Queenstown and Kingston area. This is a hands-on role where you’ll keep people safe, work moving, and standards high while helping shape how we do Good Work every day.
You’ll be trusted to lead from the front, support day-to-day quarry operations, and keep the team focused on safe, efficient delivery. If you like straight up communication, practical leadership, and being part of a team that backs good ideas over big egos, this could be your place.
Based in Queenstown or surrounding area, this role offers more than a solid career move. You’ll be living and working in one of New Zealand’s most iconic locations, with world-class skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, and lake life right on your doorstep. It’s serious work, in a seriously good part of the world.

Hands on approach when taking on various tasks leading the team by example.

Lead safe, efficient day-to-day operations across our Shotover and Fairlight Quarries.

Support and coordinate site crew, plant, stockpiles, and production activities to meet programme requirements.

Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.

Work closely with leaders and crews to plan work, solve problems, and keep things moving.

Build a positive team culture where people are supported, accountable, and able to do their best work.

Proven experience in quarry operations, civil works, or a similar heavy industry environment.

Experience leading site crews or stepping up in a supervisory role.

A strong commitment to safety, wellbeing, and doing the job right first time.

Good practical judgement, clear communication, and a calm, team-focused approach.

Minimum Class 2 license with WT endorsement required.
