Role Overview
The Business Control Management (BCM) team builds and operates the business controls framework within the first line of defense. This Vice President role leads the Markets Rates & Fixed Income Financing Control Management team, partnering closely with Front Office, Business Management, Technology, Operations, and Controls stakeholders to strengthen the control environment and deliver the Markets controls agenda globally.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead execution of the Rates & Fixed Income Financing BCM agenda, ensuring consistent governance and delivery across the control framework.
- Drive control-related initiatives end-to-end (scoping, execution, stakeholder management, and escalation).
- Review and document processes, identify control gaps, and partner with subject matter experts to assess and enhance risks and controls.
- Provide clear, executive-ready updates to senior stakeholders (objectives, progress, outcomes, and dependencies).
- Coordinate and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives across teams to drive standardization, efficiency, and sustainable outcomes.
- Manage team leadership responsibilities: coaching, capability building, performance management, and appropriate span of control.
- Support planning and execution of future location migrations, as applicable.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and skills
- Experience in financial markets; Rates products experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated people leadership, including change and resource management.
- Prior experience in Controls, Audit, and/or Project Management preferred, strong understanding of control design and application across processes.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills across competing deadlines.
- Ability to operate effectively across global stakeholders and cross-business priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior audiences.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience.
