About The Role

The Senior Full Stack Application Developer will be responsible for the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and/or new applications in Palantir. They will use their technical expertise in programming languages, tools, and delivery models, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires a foundational understanding of Palantir Foundry, programming languages, tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users.

  • Analyze business user requirements, translate them into technical specifications​, and develop the solution in Palantir Foundry
  • Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using required programming languages​
  • Create documentation and procedures for maintenance of applications developed​
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions​
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the team's skills and expertise are current

This is not a remote/hybrid position, and will repost to our headquarters in Cleveland, OH

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in application development or application engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering
  • Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Typescript, Python, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be eighteen years or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • Palantir specific certifications
  • Typescript
