Specialist - Neurology

The Specialist - Neurology within the division of Neurology, is a Board Eligible/Certified physician with clinical training in Pediatric Neurology. Under supervision of the Attending Physicians, the Specialist physician provides family-centered medical care services to neurology patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The Specialist in Neurology is a health care professional and patient advocate. S/he is encouraged and required to additionally be involved in academic and quality improvement projects. Such activities include but are not restricted to participation in Nursing and Allied Health education, Resident and Fellow training, contribution to ongoing clinical research projects and/or the development of divisional guidelines or involvement in divisional multidisciplinary quality improvement projects.
