The New Porgera Limited now has a vacancy for Supervisor – Crusher SAG Mills . About the role Reporting to the Foreman – Concentrator & Autoclaves , the Supervisor – Crusher SAG Mills is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of equipment and processes in the crushing and SAG mill areas of a mining or mineral processing operation. About you The ideal candidate must have: Trades Certificate in Fitting & Machining from a recognized institution A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a similar leadership role within the extractive or resource industry Strong technical knowledge of crushing and grinding processes, equipment, and maintenance practices. Leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems / workflow management systems (e.g. Oracle, JDE, SAP, etc.) Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Crusher and SAG Mill areas. Monitor equipment performance, process parameters, and production targets to ensure optimal efficiency and output. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent and safe production practices. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee routine maintenance activities on crushers, SAG mills, and associated equipment. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities Maintain a high level of health, safety and environmental awareness and comply with all relevant NPL policies & procedures Mobilization Requirement This is a PNG National Staff position based onsite, FIFO– Arrangement on a rotation of 21 days on and 14 days off. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening (arranged after the interview stage), and provide a Police Clearance Certificate issued within the last 6 months.
