About The Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-

Lead implementation of the Bank's Financial Crime Compliance Programme and internal policies compliance framework.

-

Oversee the development, review and implementation of financial crime compliance policies, procedures and controls.

-

Lead financial crime risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.

-

Oversee AML/CFT/CPF monitoring activities, sanctions screening controls and suspicious transaction reporting processes.

-

Stay abreast of developments in AML/CFT/CPF laws, regulations and international standards and provide guidance across the Bank.

Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements.

Lead development and delivery of financial crime compliance awareness programmes and training initiatives.

-

Provide expert advice on AML/CFT/CPF requirements relating to new products, services, projects and delivery channels.

Oversee preparation of internal and regulatory reports relating to financial crime compliance.

-

Provide regular reporting and risk updates to the Senior Manager, Compliance and AML regarding emerging financial crime risks, regulatory developments, key incidents and remediation activities.

Escalate significant AML/CFT/CPF, sanctions and financial crime compliance matters through the Senior Manager Compliance and AML.

Lead and develop the Financial Crime Compliance team and drive achievement of departmental objectives.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise operation and effectiveness of AML/CFT/CPF transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systems.

  • Coordinate with regulators and internal stakeholders on financial crime compliance matters.

  • Provide advisory support on AML/CFT/CPF implications of products, projects and business initiatives.

  • Conduct periodic financial crime risk assessments across business activities.

  • Manage and guide Compliance Analysts in executing the annual compliance program
  • -
  • Enhanced people and communication negotiation skills required to influence to create a culture of voluntary compliance and understanding of financial crime compliance environment.
