About The Role

The QC Inspector – Civil performs inspection and testing of civil construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.

SECTION II: Job Analysis

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on civil works (earthworks, formwork, rebar, concrete).
  • Witness concrete pours, compaction tests, and cube/cylinder sampling per the ITP.
  • Verify formwork, rebar placement, and dimensions against approved civil drawings.
  • Verify materials (concrete mix, rebar) against material certificates and specifications.
  • Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
  • Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
  • Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
  • Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
  • Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for civil works.
  • Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and civil codes.
  • Support preparation of quality documentation for civil handover dossiers.

  • May require shift work or extended hours to cover inspection hold points
