About The Role

  • Function and Sub‑function: Site service, troubleshooting, Customer communication, sales supporting
  • Reports To: Field service manager

Primary Objectives & Job Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical service support for Honeywell DCS system and related products under senior engineer’s guidance, covering chemical, petrochemical, as well as LNGC (LNG Carrier) vessel‑borne automation control systems.
  • Assist in system troubleshooting, site implementation and commissioning support for both on‑shore plant sites and LNG carrier vessels.
  • Deliver process control and application technical support for industrial process and marine LNG cargo control systems.
  • Cooperate with service account manager to identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Maintain positive customer relationship and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Learn and provide support on network structure, cybersecurity and safe operation for both on‑shore plants and LNGC vessels.
  • Gain hand‑on technical knowledge on VM, hardware and software for industrial and marine automation applications.
  • Provide supporting tasks for SCADA system, including vessel‑mounted SCADA applications.
  • Closely collaborate with Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Account Manager, Global TAC and cross‑functional team members.
  • Participate in emergency/break‑fix service, annual contract service and service projects (new & migration projects), covering routine service tasks, engineering support, and customer training assistance for on‑shore and marine LNGC projects.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Master’s degree in Automation, Process Control, Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology, Marine Automation or related engineering disciplines (Graduate Class of 2027).
  • Basic knowledge on DCS / industrial automation and IT is preferred; exposure to marine control system, ship‑borne automation, LNG cargo control knowledge will be a strong plus.
  • Solid fundamentals on computer hardware & software; familiar with automation process application is a plus.
  • Relevant internship experience in automation, petrochemical, process control industry will be highly preferred.
  • Good academic record; campus practical experience, student organization activities or technical competition awards are considered as pluses.
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to frequent business travel across China.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient English reading & writing capability.
