General Clerk III

The Naval Array Technical Support Center (NATSC) is a U.S. Navy facility operated by Leidos. NATSC provides repair, refurbishment, upgrades, and testing of Navy towed sonar arrays that support submarine and surface ship operations. Leidos delivers production engineering, logistics, and technical services to help keep these critical systems mission-ready for the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales customers.

Leidos Defense is seeking a General Clerk III. The successful candidate will support clerical operations of the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC), Newport RI, by performing tasks related to contract deliverables.

Primary Responsibilities.

• Scanning work packages, uploading into customer database, catalogue and label boxes used to store work packages, create inventory database for scanned work packages.
• Receipt, issue, and location recordkeeping (hardcopy and electronic) PDREP entries, and filing.
• Assisting day one /week one onboarding of new hire employees. Other data entry tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-2 years’ prior experience in administrative activity.
• Prior office administration experience
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Experience with PDF software
• Must obtain a minimum of an interim Secret prior to commencement of employment.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Have a working knowledge of NDA, CM PRO
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and operating systems

This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits. The pay for this position will be $22.42/hr.
