Landscape Operations Laborer

About The Role
WindRiver Golf Community and Marina is looking for a full-time Landscaping Operations Laborer. As an Operations Laborer, you will work closely with the Landscaping Superintendent. Your main responsibility is completing necessary maintenance tasks in and around the total WindRiver property.
Landscape Operations Laborer Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and complete landscaping work assignments in coordination with the Landscaping Superintendent based on operational needs and urgency.
- Inspect community grounds, facilities, and outdoor areas to identify maintenance, repair, and landscaping needs.
- Perform general landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, planting, fertilizing, debris removal, and maintaining flowerbeds, trees, shrubs, and shoreline lots.
- Maintain, repair, renovate, and install landscaping features for community properties, new homes, and assigned projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of building exteriors, grounds, common areas, gutters, and outdoor amenities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate with team members or third-party contractors when specialized repairs or services are required.
- Assist with pool maintenance and upkeep for the WindRiver Club Pool.
- Support community events through setup, teardown, and general event assistance as needed.
- Operate landscaping equipment, machinery, tools, and vehicles safely and responsibly while following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal, storm cleanup, and other weather-related property maintenance tasks.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; track usage and report replenishment needs.
- Track time and materials used on assignments to support accurate job costing and project management.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service to residents, homeowners, builders, guests, and team members while ensuring a high standard of property appearance and maintenance.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- 2 years’ experience in handyman, maintenance, or contractor work
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in maintenance
- Strong organization skills
- Available and willing to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow clear direction and communicate effectively
- Must be able to work successfully on a team
Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment for up to 8 hours at a time.
