Client Command has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager . The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue within their assigned territory through a combination of remote selling and consistent in-market dealer engagement. This role requires up to 50% travel, including 6– 10 days per month working in-store with dealers, partners, and prospects, along with overnight hotel stays as needed. You will manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities and provide a consultative sales assessment of their needs to help them reach their sales and business objectives . You will p artner closely with current clients in an ongoing relationship to retain and foster referral opportunities. We expect the Regional Sales Manager to have a strong understand ing of iden tifying the needs within a customer’s business and effectively tailoring the Client Command product to fulfill those needs. The ideal candidate has worked inside an automotive dealership sales department and has since transitioned into a SaaS or B2B sales role, bringing both dealership operational knowledge and modern software-selling experience.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Regular lead and prospect engagement in person, via phone, and through web meetings, including 6– 10 days per month spent in-store with dealers and thorough tracking/documentation of discussions in Salesforce.
- Source new sales opportunities through in-person dealer visits, outbound prospecting, referrals, and disciplined follow-up.
- Meet or exceed targets related to revenue quota, sales activities, pipeline generation, opportunity progression, retention metrics, and existing account growth in partnership with dealer services and CX teams.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products and remain up to date on industry news and market challenges.
- Utilize reporting systems, aggregated data, and CRM tools to track, qualify, forecast, and manage a pipeline of leads, prospects, and active sales opportunities.
- Ability to quickly identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/solutions and close sales opportunities, providing expertise to directly drive revenue.
- Able to build rapport with key contacts at all levels within assigned territory and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within assigned business segment.
- Provide regular feedback to leadership about the market and competitor activity.
- Adhere to all quality standards, company values and processes.
Requirements
- Ability to strategize and collaborate with a large extended team.
- Experience with sales of newly launched products.
- Background working in an automotive dealership sales department required; experience transitioning into SaaS, B2B software, data, or digital marketing sales strongly preferred.
- Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Experience with Digital Marketing and leveraging data to help clients succeed.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market.
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with CRM systems and sales forecasting processes .
Remote
- Must be able to work EST /CST hours and travel approximately 50% of the time, including 6–10 in -store dealer days per month and overnight hotel stays as business needs require. **Not open to CA or NY residents at this time.
- Expect some monthly HQ interaction in-person .
