Active Directory Server Migration

Job Description

• Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
• Hands on experience in with Microsoft Active Directory administration
• Migration of Active directory roles
• Create, Manage & delete AD Trust relation ships

Deploy and Manage Quest Migration Manager for AD

• Deploy QMM agents for Server Migration
• Knowledge of ports required for communication of servers and Active directory domain controllers
• Manage AD object replication between Source and Destination Domains
• Hands on experience with migrating Group Policy Objects
• Experience with PowerShell scripts to Create/edit/delete objects in bulk.

Experience with DNS Administration

Experience with Managing AD Sites and Services

• Managing AD Replication across different locations
• Understanding of TCP/IP concepts like IP Address Class, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DHCP and DNS
• Experience in setting up Cluster objects in Active Directory
• Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for various build, migration & Decommission processes
• Increase automation of build & Decommission process / reduce build & Decommission cycle time
