New Business Sales Executive

Join Dow Jones as a New Business Sales Executive, where you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and driving growth across our flagship solutions, Factiva and Risk & Compliance. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets. This high-impact role requires excellent communication skills, a strong prospecting mindset, and a relentless "can-do" attitude.

• Acquiring new logos and driving growth across flagship solutions, including Factiva and Risk & Compliance.
• Taking ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, consistently achieving and exceeding new business revenue targets.
• Building and maintaining a strong, self-generated pipeline of qualified prospects, using a consultative sales approach to uncover client challenges.
• This is a high-activity, high-impact role suited to someone with a “can-do” attitude, resilience, and a passion for winning new business
• Confidence building relationships and credibility quickly with senior stakeholders
• Experience in a new business role, with a strong emphasis on cold outreach but attitude is the most important attribute
• Excellent communication skills (listening, questioning, written and verbal)
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities within industries and accounts
• Strong prospecting mindset - you’re comfortable picking up the phone and opening doors
• Ideally a proven success in acquiring new logos and hitting/exceeding targets
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Relentless “can-do” attitude with high energy and resilience
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ideally experience selling subscription-based or information/data solutions
