Manager of Commercial Sales

Join Navan, a leading platform in travel and expense management, as the Manager of Commercial Sales. In this role, you will develop and scale a team of Commercial Account Executives, drive revenue growth, and break into untapped territories. You will report directly to the Central Director of Commercial Sales and be based in Austin. Key responsibilities include building and engaging a team, instilling pipeline generation practices, accurately forecasting sales revenue targets, and overseeing day-to-day AE activity. • Recruit and manage a team of 5-7 Account Executives focused on building pipeline and new business execution.
• Instill sound pipeline generation practices on a weekly basis that results in meetings set and quality conversions.
• Responsible for accurately forecasting and delivering on monthly/quarterly sales revenue targets.
• Ability to function in a “Player/Coach” capacity
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets across teams and individually
• Skilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
• Proven experience recruiting and developing top talent
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experienced in hiring and training talent at scale
• 2+ years as an AE individual contributor within the Commercial/Mid-Market
• 2+ years experience as a direct sales leader/manager of a technology company
• Experience using Salesforce for accurate forecasting
