Accountant (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Join our team as an Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with the Accounting Team, support accounting-related tasks, and be the main contact for internal and external audits. You will take ownership of key accounting processes, contribute to monthly and annual closing activities, and help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. You should have several years of experience in accounting, be fluent in English, and have a strong knowledge of Excel and accounting principles.

• Übernahme von Schlüsselprozessen in der Buchhaltung, einschließlich der Erstellung von Buchungssätzen nach HGB und IFRS.
• Sicherstellung der Genauigkeit und Compliance der Buchhaltungsunterlagen durch Durchführung von Kontenanalysen und Bilanzabstimmungen.
• Beitrag zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Buchhaltungsprozessen, internen Kontrollen und systemgestützten Workflows.
• You are fluent in English and have at least B1 level of German
• You demonstrate a great knowledge of Excel and have strong analytical skills
• You have an affinity for numbers and a meticulous approach to work
• You are familiar with accounting according to HGB and IFRS and have very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• You are open, outgoing and enjoy working in a team
• You have several years of experience in accounting, ideally also in Project Management
• You are passionate about your subject and want to contribute to our company with a lot of commitment
• You work independently, are service-oriented and have the will to constantly improve yourself
• Ideally, you have had your first contact with Navision and have been able to gain knowledge of VAT law
• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or training as an Accountant or have an equivalent qualification; the qualification of “Bilanzbuchhalter” is of benefit
