About The Role

Join our team as a Game Data Analyst, where you'll leverage your analytical skills and technical expertise to support multiple game teams. In this individual contributor role, you'll focus on data modeling, advanced analysis, and building scalable analytical foundations. You'll partner with product and game teams to answer complex questions about player behavior, engagement, and progression, and design and analyze player segmentation and behavioral cohorts. Additionally, you'll implement and evaluate A/B tests, build and maintain reliable data models, and contribute to self-serve reporting and visualization.

  • Partner with product and game teams to answer complex questions around player behavior, engagement, and progression.
  • Perform advanced analyses using SQL to uncover patterns and drivers behind player actions, and design and analyze player segmentation and behavioral cohorts.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to measure feature performance, optimize player experiences, and guide data-informed decisions.
  • Are you curious about what makes games engaging? Do you enjoy understanding not just what players do, but why they do it, and turning that understanding into clear, actionable insights?
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics
  • Experience working with complex datasets and analytical data models
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
  • Curiosity, ownership, and eagerness to learn new tools and approaches
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Looker and dbt
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
  • Background in games, free-to-play, or product analytics
