About The Role

Join Magnite's People Operations team as the Lead of People Operations (Benefits). In this role, you will manage US benefits offerings, implement wellness and health education initiatives, and maintain employee benefits in our HRIS. You will be responsible for administering and communicating Magnite's benefit policies, managing the budget for annual benefit costs, overseeing COBRA administration, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This is a hands-on role that requires strong knowledge of federal and state regulations for employee benefits and leaves of absence, as well as proficiency in Excel and experience with self-funded benefit plans.

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day processing and employee inquiries related to US benefits offerings, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Administer and communicate Magnite’s benefit policies, programs, and initiatives, including group health/medical/dental coverage, critical illness, life and disability insurances, and 401(k) retirement plans.
  • Negotiate policies with carriers and brokers during annual open enrollment, manage the budget for annual benefit costs, and conduct and prepare annual FSA plan nondiscrimination testing.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations for employee benefits and leaves of absence
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, summarize findings, and present information clearly and accurately
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources and benefits experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization and demonstrate a strong commitment to a team environment
  • Project & change management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with self-funded benefit plans preferred
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo and is able to comfortably make sound recommendations using data in a complex, ambiguous, and changing environment
  • Knowledge and experience with the Workday Benefits module preferred
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities
  • M&A and benefits integration experience is a plus
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in benefits administration
