Infrastructure Developer (Golang)

Join our team as an Infrastructure Developer (Golang) and work on our Control Plane project, which abstracts critical infrastructure and offers it as a service. You will design, implement, and maintain applications that automate our self-service platform, optimize load balancing infrastructure, and collaborate with product managers and other developers. You will also participate in architectural discussions and drive innovation and improvement of our Adyen Platform.

• Design, implement, and maintain applications that automate and power the self-service platform for load balancing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to understand upcoming features, translating their needs into robust solutions that are secure and scalable.
• Drive innovation and improvement of the Adyen Platform by participating in architectural discussions and leveraging your experience to influence key decisions.
• You have worked within platform/infrastructure teams
• You are proficient with Linux
• You have 6+ years of relevant work experience
• You have great communication skills
• You are fluent in Golang and have some Python knowledge
• You have demonstrable experience in driving and delivering complex projects
• You have a future-oriented mindset
• You have a good understanding of distributed systems
• Ability to plan, drive and deliver complex projects
• Experience with docker and kubernetes
• Experience in building and maintaining large distributed systems
• Experience in system design
• Great understanding of Software Engineering practices and interest in Infrastructure
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, layers and related protocols such as TCP/IP and TLS
• Good understanding of system and service observability
• Experience with open source load balancing technologies such as HAProxy
• Experience with React/NodeJS
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible or Terraform
