Data Science Intern

Join YEGO, a leading mobility service provider, as a Data Science Intern. In this role, you will work on concrete business problems such as mobility demand forecasting, fleet optimization, and automated analysis of user feedback. You will contribute to the full Data Science lifecycle, from understanding the business problem and exploring the data to developing, evaluating, and deploying solutions. This is a paid 6-month internship with flexible working hours, remote working options, and various benefits.

• Contribuer à l'ensemble du cycle de vie de la science des données, de la compréhension du problème commercial à la mise en œuvre des solutions.
• Développer, tester et évaluer des solutions de science des données et d'apprentissage automatique pour des problèmes commerciaux concrets.
• Aider à déployer des preuves de concept existantes en solutions fiables intégrées dans les flux de données et opérationnels de YEGO.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings and their business implications clearly
• Strong knowledge of Python and common Data Science libraries such as pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn
• Ability to work and communicate professionally in Spanish, French and English
• Interest in taking Data Science projects beyond experimentation and into production
• Curious and rigorous mindset with a willingness to experiment and challenge assumptions
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of data quality
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Ability to work with large datasets and turn business problems into structured analytical approaches
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or another quantitative field
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development
• Good understanding of statistics, Machine Learning fundamentals and model evaluation
• Experience deploying Machine Learning models or building inference pipelines
• Previous academic or personal projects involving mobility, transportation, logistics, marketplaces or spatial data
• Familiarity with cloud environments, data warehouses or dbt
• Ability to communicate professionally in Spanish and/or French
