The Role

Seeking R &D Chemist /Chemical Engineer work at Global Metrology and Analytical team at Yonezawa Particle Lab . The candidate is responsible for leading particle testing and performance test ing for liquid filter product development and Application development . The candidate will be expected mainly to operate Particle testing inst ruments and filter testing tools at Yonezawa Particle Lab . The candidate is also expected oversee ing lab technician to operate particle testing tool safely work ing with hazardous chemical s . Create own test schedule, prepare test samples, conduct trouble shooting , and create reports for requesters .

グローバルメトロロジーアンドアナリィティックス所属の米沢パーティクルラボにおいて、 R&Dケミスト／化学エンジニアを募集しています。このポジションでは、液体用フィルターの新製品開発および応用技術開発に向けた粒子試験およびろ過性能試験を主導していただきます。

主な業務内容は、米沢パーティクルラボにおける粒子試験装置およびフィルター試験装置の操作です。また、有害化学物質を取り扱う粒子測定装置を安全に運用できるよう、ラボ技術員の監督業務も担当していただきます。

そのほか、試験スケジュールの立案、試験サンプルの準備、トラブルシューティングの実施、依頼者向けのレポート作成業務も担当していただきます。

In this role you will

Perform particle testing based on established methods. Mainly conduct filtration testing at Yonezawa particle Lab .
Filtration testing includes hazardous chemical operation . The operation must follow the rule and regulation not only from OSHA but also Entegris rules.
Maintain a safe laboratory environment through compliance with Entegris policies.
Communicate results through written reports and oral presentations.
Successfully apply test results into scientific principles, theories and concepts for each project.
Work with Product RD and Application engineering for testing.
Participate in site Continuous Improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency.
Create test SOP, test plan and test reports, and other technical documents as required .
Collaborate with and support other internal functional groups as needed.
Any other duties as assigned.
既定の標準試験手法に基づいた粒子試験を実施する。主に米沢パーティクルラボにおいてろ過試験を実施する。
ろ過試験には有害化学物質の取り扱いが含まれるため、 OSHA（労働安全衛生規則）だけでなく、Entegrisの社内規則および手順を遵守して作業を行う必要がある。
Entegrisのポリシーを遵守することで、安全な実験室環境を維持する。
書面によるレポートおよび口頭での発表を通じて、試験結果をグループ内外に共有する。
各プロジェクトにおいて、試験結果を工学的原理、理論、概念に基づいて適切に考察する。
新製品開発および応用技術エンジニアリングチームと連携し、試験業務を行う。
安全・品質・効率の観点から、米沢工場における継続的改善（CI）活動に参画する。
必要に応じて、試験SOP、試験計画書、試験報告書、その他の技術文書を作成する。
必要に応じて、社内の他部門と連携し、その支援を行う。
その他、割り当てられた業務を遂行する。

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

A bachelor or higher degree in C hemistry or Chemical Engineering must
5 - 10 years of lab experience using analytical equipment w/ equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills preferred .
Hands on experience and thorough knowledge for hazardous chemicals must .
Prior experience working in cleanroom environment preferred .
Prior experience Microsoft office preferred .
Ability to clearly communicate technical information and ideas to internal and external audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills must .
Strong personnel team building skills. Good Team player.
Well organized.
Primarily in the laboratory, occasionally in manufacturing process areas that may include a clean room environment.
Good English communication skill preferred , and willing to learn must .
化学または化学工学分野における学士号以上を有していること（必須）。
分析機器を使用した5～10年程度のラボ実務経験を有し、各種分析装置、製造装置に関する経験、知識およびトラブルシューティング能力があれば尚可。
有害化学物質を取り扱う業務経験および十分な知識を有していること （必須）。
クリーンルーム環境での勤務経験があれば尚可。
Microsoft Office（Word、Excel、PowerPoint 等）の使用経験があれば尚可。
社内外の関係者に対して、技術的な情報や考えを明確に伝える能力を有していること。
優れた文書作成能力および口頭でのコミュニケーション能力を有していること（必須）。
チームビルディング力が高く、協調性のあるチームプレーヤーであること。
整理整頓能力が高いこと。
主な勤務場所は実験室であるが、必要に応じてクリーンルーム環境を含む製造プロセスエリアでの業務が発生する場合がある。
英語でのコミュニケーション能力があれば尚可。あわせて、学習意欲があること。
