About The Role

This position is being recruited by Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). NAFSA is being established as a strategic national initiative to strengthen Pakistan’s agri-trade ecosystem through enhanced regulatory oversight, facilitation, and modernization of food safety and trade processes. The selected candidate will be part of NAFSA’s foundational team, contributing to the development of systems, processes, and institutional capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of periodic financial reporting packs (monthly/quarterly/annual) including management accounts, variance summaries, and statutory submissions as required under applicable rules and governance timelines.
  • Assist in consolidation of general ledger information by preparing supporting schedules, working papers, and reconciliations (bank, advances, payables/receivables, payroll clearing, fixed assets coordination, etc.)to support accurate reporting outputs.
  • Coordinate reporting inputs from Accounts, Budget, and Procurement/Asset teams to ensure consistency in financial narratives, classifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and update standardized reporting templates, chart-of-accounts mapping trackers (as applicable), KPIs, and finance dashboards to support management review and decision-making.
  • Support compliance reporting and financial review processes by ensuring completeness of documentation,maintaining audit trails, and timely preparation of responses to internal/external audit queries.
  • Assist in preparation of notes, schedules, and disclosures supporting annual financial statements and ensure timely availability of evidence files for audit requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on reporting outputs to identify anomalies, missing schedules, or classification issues, and coordinate corrections with relevant teams.
  • Support preparation of management briefs and presentations for senior leadership and governance forums as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Deputy Director (Accounts) / Director (Finance & Procurement) consistent with NAFSA's mandate.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's (Minimum sixteen years) in Accounting/Finance or related discipline; professional qualification preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or accounts.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and audit requirements (preferred)
