As a Barista , you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day

-Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

-Follow Waldorf Astoria operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, security and health and safety to ensure the safety of self, customers and colleagues at all times.

• Presents oneself professionally to ensure adherence to health and safety rules and quality operations standards.

• -To rotate stock, ensuring food and beverage products are used prior to the best before date and that wastage is minimised
• -Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for over all satisfaction.
• -Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
• -Must have a full knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relation and etiquette
• -Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• -Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs, through crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
• -Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check.
• -Check stations before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• -Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
• -Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner
• -Monitor the quality food and beverage being served on the table.
• -Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene
• -Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
