Job Summary

• Responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiogram exams using a variety of
• ultrasound equipment. Exams are performed in a professional manner demonstrating
• technical accuracy and cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate
• anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. Reports critical findings to reading
• physician for interpretation when indicated. Assists with the collection and analysis of
• data for accreditation and quality improvement purposes. Maintains ultrasound
• equipment and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate from CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program
• Registered Adult Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), and/or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI)

Registered in Adult Echocardiography

• BLS upon hire or within 3 most post-hire
