Founders Associate (Intern)

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-ownership internship embedded in a small, fast-moving operations team at an early-stage AI startup building purpose-built agents for the freight forwarding industry. You will be an active driver of company growth, not a passive observer, contributing across operations, recruiting, and go-to-market from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and manage internal systems, including the company website and operational tooling.
• Lead recruiting efforts and support the onboarding of new team members.
• Support go-to-market initiatives and help bring AI agent products to customers.
• Identify and secure grant and non-dilutive funding opportunities.
• Switch fluidly between big-picture strategy and detailed execution to tackle whatever moves the company forward.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in generalist roles, ideally in early-stage or high-agency environments with real ownership.
• A technical background or strong intuition for AI and software systems.
• Experience building or managing internal systems, websites, or operational tooling.
• Familiarity with recruiting processes, candidate sourcing, or talent acquisition workflows.
• Experience identifying and securing funding opportunities such as grants or non-dilutive funding.
• Exposure to go-to-market initiatives, customer acquisition, or sales enablement.
• Fluency in both German and English, written and verbal.
• A bias toward action, strong work ethic, high integrity, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Genuine curiosity about startups, AI, and how companies are built from the ground up.
• Local work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

€2,400 per month. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany. Berlin office presence is preferred. Internship starts Q4 2026.
