Responsibilities
General Purpose: Maintains responsibility for management oversight of more than one inpatient area and serves as a resource for Nurse Managers and others in the Department. Participates in service or departmental level program planning and assessment and allocation of resources. Oversees and directs unit or departmental activities including standards development, implementation and monitoring, human resource management, assessment and monitoring of resource needs and utilization, staff development, and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Represents the unit and service on committees at all levels within the institution.
Full-time position available, D/E, 8-hour shifts, holidays, and on-call responsibilities per unit policy.
Join the leadership team in Imaging Sciences. Demonstrate the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals and objectives, and provide consultation and expertise in delivering patient care in Interventional Radiology settings. Requires 5 years of nursing experience, and ICU experience is preferred. Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team and yet be independent in the performance of duties. Must be ACLS certified.
